Welcome to The Chapter Label (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Policies govern your access to and use of www.thechapterlabel.com (the “Site”) and all purchases, services, and custom apparel orders placed through us.

 

By accessing our Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Nature of Our Services

The Chapter Label is a custom Greek and collegiate apparel company based in Garden Grove, California.
All products are made-to-order, customized, or personalized unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Due to the custom nature of our work, additional terms apply to all orders.

Custom Orders & Final Sale Policy

ALL CUSTOM ORDERS ARE FINAL SALE

Once an order has been approved and submitted to production:

  • No refunds

  • No returns

  • No exchanges

  • No cancellations

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Apparel with custom sizing

  • Chapter names, letters, logos, or dates

  • Embroidery, screen printing, heat press, or specialty finishes

Design Proofs & Approval

  • Digital proofs may be provided prior to production.

  • It is the customer’s responsibility to carefully review all proofs for accuracy, including:

    • Spelling

    • Sizing

    • Colors

    • Placement

    • Quantities

  • Approval of a proof constitutes full authorization to proceed.

The Chapter Label is not responsible for errors approved by the customer, including typographical errors, incorrect sizes, or design placement.

Sizing Responsibility

When size rosters, sizing sheets, or order forms are used:

  • Customers are responsible for collecting accurate sizing information

  • Individual members are responsible for their selected size

  • The Chapter Label is not liable for sizing issues once production begins

No replacements will be issued for incorrect size selections.

Production Timelines

Most of our products are custom-made to order.
Production time is approximately 2–3 weeks.

This production timeframe begins only after all of the following are completed:

  • Full payment is received

  • All designs and proofs are reviewed and approved

  • Final sizing and order details are confirmed

Production timelines provided by The Chapter Label are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Timelines may vary due to factors including, but not limited to:

  • Order size or complexity

  • Customization methods or production techniques

  • Vendor or material availability

  • Holidays or peak production seasons

The Chapter Label is not responsible for delays outside of our control, including but not limited to shipping carrier delays, supply chain disruptions, or unforeseen circumstances.

Production or shipping delays do not qualify for refunds, returns, exchanges, or order cancellations.

Payments & Pricing

  • Full payment is required before production begins unless otherwise agreed in writing

  • Prices are subject to change without notice

  • Any changes requested after approval may result in additional fees

Failure to submit payment may result in order delays or cancellation.

Intellectual Property & Artwork

By submitting artwork, logos, or designs, you represent that:

  • You own the rights to the artwork or

  • You have obtained permission to use it

The Chapter Label is not responsible for copyright or trademark violations submitted by the customer.

We reserve the right to refuse any design that infringes on intellectual property or violates applicable laws.

Color Variations & Materials

Due to variations in:

  • Screen displays

  • Fabric dye lots

  • Printing and embroidery methods

Final product colors may vary slightly from digital proofs or previous orders. Such variations are not considered defects.

Shipping & Risk of Loss

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or invoiced separately, depending on the order.

  • Once an order has been shipped or transferred to the carrier, risk of loss passes to the customer.

  • The Chapter Label is not responsible for:

    • Lost, stolen, or delayed packages once in transit

    • Carrier-related issues or delivery errors

    • Packages marked as “delivered” by the carrier

Customers are encouraged to:

  • Provide accurate shipping addresses

  • Monitor tracking information

  • Contact the carrier directly for delivery-related concerns

Shipping delays do not qualify for refunds or order cancellations.

Refused or Terminated Orders

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse service

  • Cancel an order

  • Terminate communication

For reasons including but not limited to:

  • Abusive or disrespectful behavior

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Unlawful, inappropriate, or infringing design requests

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Chapter Label shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the order in question

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Chapter Label from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Artwork or content you provide

  • Incorrect information submitted

  • Violation of these Terms

Governing Law

These Policies are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts located in California.

​

Changes to These Policies

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
